Our pastor, Bro. Johnny Welborn, has
been singing gospel music for many years and his singing ministry has been a great
blessing to all of the members of Warrenton Independent Baptist Church. At first, he sang
as "The Singing Policeman" as Bro. Johnny was a Jackson, MS police officer prior
to being called to preach and pastor. In 1987, he retired from the police department and
became pastor of our church. The next year he formed the group called the Warrenton Boys.
